  Shall I book a hotel for staying Apr 14-17 2012 in advance?

  Hi,
  
  If my travel trip is at 14 - 17 Apr 2012, shall i book the hotel in advance?
  Any good recommendation on hotels that near metro station (budget about RMB200)?
  What is the best transportation getting around & sightseeing at Guangzhou?

• it is too early to book it now, you can book the hotel at the begining of 2012.
  which area or district are you going to stay? here i recommend some economic hotels, like Home Inn, 7 Days, Jinjiang Inn, GreenTree Hotel, Motel 168. all of them are Chain hotels and have many branch hotels in the city.
  buses and subway lines are very convenient for sightseeing.

  I am in Jinjiang Inn now
  The location is near from Sun Yat Sen Station - Line 2 (only 2 stations from GZ Railway Station)
  The price is 240 / night for 2 people
  the hotel is clean and only 1 receptionist can speak English a little..so better use pen and paper for communicating
  In front of the hotel is the railway and the street..so you can hear evverything from the road
