Question about China G Visa (Transit Visa)

  Can we go out of the secure zone to the rest of the Bejing Capital Airport?

  I will be transitting Beijing from Sydney to Rome in September. We will have 7 hours in Beijing. I understand we do not need a transit visa if we stay in the airport. My question is does stay in the airport mean in the secure zone or can we go out of the secure zone to the rest of the airport. I ask as we'd like to use the Hourly Lounge which I believe is on the outside of the customs area. We are Australians.

• hi,
  the hourly lounge is just in the East of International Departure Hall, you don't need to get to the rest places of the airport.
