Do I need to apply for a G-visa for my 48 hour stay in Shanghai?
I am an australian citizen and plan to stopover in shanghai for up to 48 hours and then leave for germany. do I need to apply for a G-visa for my 48 hour stay in shanghai? can I apply for the G-visa on my arrival at shanghai airport or do I need to apply for the visa in australia?

- Australian passport holders are exempt from China visa if they stay in Shanghai within 48 hours for transit.
