Question about Tibet

  Is Tibet open for tourism?

  I was scheduled to go to Tibet at the end of June but was just told by the coordinator of the trip that China has shut down all of the autonomous regions. Is it still possible to visit Tibet at the end of June? We have all of the required visas and permissions.

• i heard foreign visitors are not allowed to travel to Tibet between June 25th to July 25th.
