Question about Shenzhen

  visit to china

  we are travelling from australia to hong kong and would like to go to shenzhen for two days do we require a visa and where can we obtain this if it is needed.What is the easiest way to shenzen ferry or train we do not wish to fly there.
  Also can you recommend a 3 to 4 star hotel with reasonable rates.

• yes, you need to apply the visa for mainland China, and you can obtain the visa through the Chinese Embassy in Australia.
  the easiest way is to take the MRT to Luohu, and walk through the Luohu Customs to Shenzhen.
