Question about China Visa

  Getting china business travel visa in a country that one is not residing in

  can you please advise whether this is possible? I plan to travel to shanghai to attend a meeting but I will not have enough time to process my visa in my country of residence (thailand) because I em traveling to Malaysia and Korea just before going to china. Can I apply for a visa in Malaysia? I hold a philippine passport.
