Question about Guangzhou Ferries to Hong Kong

  How to get to Hong Kong from Guangzhou by ferry

  I will be leaving Guangzhou on August 15th and heading to Hong Kong. I have been told the ferry trip is quite nice especially upon arrival to HK. How long it takes the trip by ferry from Guangzhou to HK and do I need to book in advance or just get there the same day and buy my ticket? How much is the ticket? Which ferry port should I use? Are there ferries all day long? Thank you!

• Hi JC,
  it takes about 1 hour from Guangzhou to Hong Kong by ferry.
  you need to go to the Nansha port to take the fery.
  you don't need to book the ticket in advance, but but is the same day you get there.
  the ticket is CNY 140 per person for single way, CNY 240 per person for a round-trip.
  the ferries to China Hong Kong City depart at 09:15, 11:30, 14:00, and 18:00.
  and the ferry to Hong Kong Macau Terminal departs at 16:00.
