  stay in hongkong during last week of august2011

  i will be visiting HK betwen 21/08/2011 to 24/08/2011... planning to stay in hotel panda...tell me about the reasonable shopping area nearby the hotel and also the places of interest to see within walking distance...
  
  you r requested to also say about the monsoon there during days .....hope rains dont spoil the the fun of being in hk....

  Panda Place, Discovery Park, City Landmark, Citistore – Tsuen Wan store
  
  Tsuen Wan Jockey Club Tak Wah Park
  Tsuen Wan Park
  Chuk Nam Sim Monastery
  Western Monastery
  
  it is hot, but not sure whether it will rain or not. check the weather forecast 3 days before you go.
