  I will be going to Macau - HK Aug. 27 - Sept. 3. Is it ok to walk around the town and visit short and tank top and flip flop

  Is it ok to walk around town and visit tourist spots just wearing flip flop, shorts and tank top?
  If it's rainy season, is the ferry from macau to Hongkong and vice versa still operating?

• yes, the attire you mentioned are fine. but take a thin coat with you.
  the ferry is operating unless the weather is extremely bad.
