Question about Luggage Allowance in China

  excess luggage charges

  my mom is traveling back to india (delhi) she was allowed two bags of 23kgs when she came on 7th july 2011 , is that the correct weight limit ? also whats are the charges if she exceeds the weight limit, can she carry an additional bag(a third one) what will the charges be for that additional bag?

  then you need to consult the air company in the US. the page is about the regulations for Chinese air company.
  if she's going back to India from China, she can only take one piece for free, and the limited weight for economy class is 20 kg. "The luggage exceeding the weight limit will be charged by 1.5% of the economy class airfare on each additional kilogram."
