  Is the rain in Hongkong lasts for short time or a whole day from may to sept?

  heard it is 'typhoon' period from may-sept. i'll be going HK in late may 2010. anybody can advise on the weather? very humid? rain for short period only? whole day rain? i'm quite worried now as i forgot to check the weather before purchasing the air ticket !
