Kate thank you so much, in fact i am very happy because this has been my headache for some time now but i think i am free now but one more question, what steps do i need to take now and what documents do i need? the only document i have now is my passport, will it work?

undergraduate foreign students are not allowed to get married.
if you are not an undergraduate students, you can get married with your girlfriend.
you must submit your valid passport, your permenent resident permit, your marriage status offered by your country's embassy in China, the Statement of Academic Attainment offered by your university.
