- You may just go to the Consulate General of China in Fukuoka to apply for the visa. The address is 〒810-0065 Jigyohama 1-3-3, Chuo-Ku, Fukuoka, Japan.Answered by Kevin | Sep. 19, 2011 19:13
- This answer is late for the OP, but perhaps it will help someone else. You do not have to go to Fukuoka. You can go to the Okinawa New Overseas Chinese Association office in Urasoe:

The current like to a pdf application is incorrect--search around the web for a 4 page application. I found it easily. It costs 21000 yen (the fee for the visa is 15000yen for US citizens, the extra is their fee). It's a lot cheaper than flying to Fukuoka or paying a travel agent 30000 yen to do it!! If you are a non-Japanese, you'll need to fill one additional form while at the office.Answered by MaryAnn | Apr. 02, 2012 18:47 - Thanks for your info. MaryAnnAnswered by Jack | Apr. 02, 2012 20:01
