Question about China Customs Declarations

  Moving to China - Food items, etc.

  My husband and I will be moving to China in the next month with our 3 children. Is it alright for me to bring along spices from home? And yeast to make bread? Everything we bring will be for our own personal use. Are there rules about what kind of food you can bring in? Are they going to care that we bring TONS of deodorant (as we've heard that's hard to come by...)

  i think it is OK with the food and spices for personal use, but you'd better declare the deodorant when you go through the customs.
