  Chinese Embassy and Consulate in the Philippines working schedule in December and after New Year

  I would like to apply for a Chinese visa sometime in December or right after New Year.
  I understand it will take four working days to process and need to know the
  working schedule of the Chinese Embassy in Manila or the consulate in
  Laoag. Specifically:
  
  On what days in December (Monday-Friday) will they be closed?
  Will they be open for visa application after December 25 and if so, until when?
  What will be their first working day after January 1?

• Chinese Embassy and Consulate in the Philippines will be open for business from Jan. 4, and then closed for the Spring Festival. Jan. 22 - 28 again.
