- The letter Z means 'direct' or 'nonstop', while T means 'express'. To specific it, train Z just run between Beijing and Xian without any stop in between, but the train T will stop at some big railway stations in between, such as Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan and Yanan.
I think Z19, Z53 & T43 are all comfortable overnight trains from Beijing to Xian. Almost all of the trains from Beijing to Xian leave from Beijing West Railway Station.
You may take Tianjin airport special line 5 to Dongfeng Overbridge, transfer to Bus No. 666 to Tianjin railway station. it takes less than one hour in total. If taking a taxi, it may cost CNY50-60 for a single way.
I don't advise you use taxi to travel fron Tianjin t Beijing, it takes a long time and costs too much money. The inter-city bullet train ticket is only CNY66 for first class, and it just takes about 30 minutes.Answered by Hank | Dec. 08, 2011 17:19
