  Buy a train ticket in China?

  For foreigners, to buy a train ticket is a headache, for tickets are not sold in English in most China cities.
  How can i buy a train ticket?

• Not really too difficult, i think. Ask someone knowing Chinese to write down your train No, the date and the class of the seat for you, and you just need to show the notes to the staff. It is done!! very easy! The staff are always very friendly and helpful to the foreigner.
  
  PS: If you want to buy a train tickets during the CNY, namely in Feb, it is not just a headache for foreigners, but also the Chinese. I am also worried about my train tickets back home... If anyone could share any idea about how to acquire a train tickets, that's great appreciated.

• Yes,China Railway enters its "Spring Festival Transportation" period which lasts from January 18 to March 2. Most Chinese people working far away from home choose to go home by train.
  
  At present, there are three ways to buy a ticket, but not all are available in China cities.
  You may buy a ticket at the tickets agencies or the railway station.Or you may reserve it through telephone or internet, and then get them in the tickets agencies.

• I have booked a railway ticket by phone.
  But it is only a hard seat ticket, no other kinds of tickets left, painful!
  Anyway thank god I got it! But I'm still worrying if it will delay a long time on the way.
  I have heard that many trains have delayed over 10 hours, really a terrible experience!

• Well, it is really headache for us to buy a train ticket, but many railway stations in China's cities sell the tickets in English. So Nice.
