- Hi Angela,
have you already gotten a job here in China?
if yes, you need to apply for a work visa.
if not, you should apply for a tourist visa first, and come to China to get married, then you need to get a family visit visa or a residence permit at the local entry and exit department.Answered by Sara (CN) | Jun. 26, 2011 20:05 - Hi Sara, first of fall i'm appreciate that you had answer my question. That's help me a lot here. I'm still a student. Having practical. But will graduate soon. But what i heard from my father in law is, i need a document to prove that i am single in order to get a job in China. So, first of all I need to apply a tourist visa. Then, the rest is done in China? I mean the family visit visa or residence permit.

the document to prove you are single is used to get married not to get a job.
