  can anyone recommend a nice hotel near the West Lake? I'm going to Hangzhou during the Chinese Spring festival, do i have to book a room in advance?

  Lingyin Xianting Inn - Hangzhou, Jing Zhong Cun Hotel - Hangzhou , Flower Inn (West Lake) Hangzhou , Home Inn West Lake Broken Bridge - Hangzhou , Phoenix Creative International Yushanju - Hangzhou.
  you'd better book a room in advance since the room rate will rise during the Spring Festival.
