  are train tickets really difficult to get during the Chinese Spring Festival?

  I'm going to take a train from Chengdu to Shanghai during the Chinese Spring Festival. is it hard to get the ticket? how can i book the ticket? how early do i have to book the ticket?

  since both Chengdu and Shanghai are hot destinations in China, the train tickets between them are very hard to get.
  you need to book the ticket at least 10 days in advance. online-ticket booking is available 12 days in advance.
  or you can also ask a travel agency or ticket agency to book the ticket for you.
