- You are right that you don't need any transit visa for such a short stopover in Beijing and Guangzhou.Answered by Hank | Jan. 13, 2012 17:16
- Iv been told by the airline and the embasy that because i have a british passport i do need a visaAnswered by mellanie (australia) | Jan. 18, 2012 23:08
- really?
i've never heard about it.
i know that Australian citizens can stay in Shanghai airport for 48 hours and beijing airport for 24 hours for transit without a transit visa.
i think you need to confirm with the airline and the Chinese Embassy, if you still got the same answer, then you need to apply a transit visa.Answered by Ashley | Jan. 19, 2012 01:05
