  there are three trains from Shenyang to Guangzhou. the train trip takes about 1 day and 9 hours, and the ticket is around CNY 550 for a hard-sleepers.

  the buses from Guangzhou to Beihai depart from Guangdong Provincial long-distance Bus Station (close to the Guangzhou Railway station) at 09:10, 11:20, 13:00, 20:50, 22:00, and 23:00. the ticket is CNY 180. and the journey takes about 7 - 8 hours.
