I am not sure how safe it would be to leave the baggage their for such a long time. I have had friends in Guangzhou who have had stuff missing from their bags at Shenzhen station before. However, usually its a pretty safe option, especially for short durations. If you have any questions about Guangzhou, during your Guangzhou visit, feel free to drop me a line.
