  do i have to apply a visa to visit Shenzhen from Hong Kong?

  I wil be in Hong Kong for 7 days, and i plan to go to Shenzhen as well, just for one or two days. is visa required?
  BTW i'm Filipino

• You do have to apply for a visa for your trip Shenzhen. You may either apply for a China visa from the office of the commissioner of the Ministry of foreign afffairs of PRC in Hk Administrative Region or apply for a Shenhzen Special Zone visa from the entry port of Shenzhen. With a China visa, you can also visit other cities in mainland China, but with the Shenhzen Special Zone visa, you will only allowed to stay in Shenzhen for at most 5 days.
  
  In my opinion, you'd better apply for a China visa in Hk in advance to enter Shenzhen smoothly.
