Question about Luggage Allowance in China

  planning a tour in china but concerned about luggage fees

  I am booking a flight on American Airlines to Vietnam which allows two peices of luggage for free. We have scheduled two layovers in Beijing and Hong Kong to sight-see. Because AA doesn't fly within China the flights are on Dragonair and Vietnam airlines which only allow one piece of free luggage but since I booked the flight through AA will the airlines allow the two peices or will they charge me each time?
