  What is Beijing taxi boot space?

  We have 4 people in our group & we plan to take a taxi to our hotel from Beijing South Railway station. We have 2 big luggages (25 inches each). Will the 2 bags fit into the boot of the taxi or do we have to take 2 taxis?

• I think you will have to take 2 taxis, since the boot of a taxi may only hold one piece of your luggage. If you won't take somuch luggage, it's ok that you can just take one taxi.

• You may be lucky and the taxi driver will fit the luggage into the boot of the car, there should be enough space as long as the suitcases aren't over sized. However, some drivers keep a lot of stuff in their boot, so you may struggle. If you want to put one suitcase on your lap in the back of the taxi they tend to be pretty relaxed about this.
