can an australian married to a chinese girl retire in hong kong. The girl is from main land china. My wife is an accountant in guangzhou.. The ideal world would be for her to get a job in Hong Kong but I am informed that people from mainland cannot work in Hong Kong?I have assets of around 2.5 million australian dollars in shares and cash and would prefer to rent in Hong Kong and live from my dividends which are in Australian shares. With time we start to invest in Hong Kong market.
