  Apply the smart HKID in Toronto Chinese Consulate, how log it take ?

  If I apply the smart HKID in Toronto Chinese Consulate on March 22 nd , 2012, will I still able to make the application for the $6000 ?
  How long will it take to receive the smart HKID from Toronto Chinese Consulate ?

• I think you can get the $6000, since the deadline of the registration is Dec. 31, 2012. Actually, the Toronto Chinese Consulate will pass you HK ID applicatin to the Hk immigration Department who will post the HK ID back to the China Consulate when it is ready. It will take 6-8 weeks to process your application, excluding the delivery time.
