Question about Macau Visa

  Macau visa for Bangladesh Citizen

  Hi, I am a Bangladesh Citizen. I live in USA at Illinois state with valid student visa. I need to go to Macau for a conference. When I contacted to the Chinese Consulate at Chicago, they informed me that I need to get visa from the custom. What does it mean? According to the document here, I need to get Visa before arriving to MACAU.. right? I am confused. Any details would be really helpful for me.

• Hi Sunny,
  Bangladesh citizen should obtain a Macau visa through the Chinese Embassy or consulate before arrive in Macau from July 1, 2010. you can reconfirm with the Chinese Embassy in Chicago.
