Question about Luggage Allowance in China

  Does Baggage allowance of Star Alliance planes with Platinum Elite Status also apply to Air china?

  travelling on any Star Alliance planes with Platinum Elite Status allows me 2 pieces of luggage to be checked in free as a benefit , does that apply to Air china too on domestic flights, as they are a Star Alliance partner ?
