Question about Huangyao Ancient Town

  I want to stay overnight in Huang Yao

  I understand there might not be a lot of accomodations in Huang Yao (and we do not care if it is not up to usual western comfort levels), do you know where we can stay in this village? Do you have their contact information?
  
  Also, I would like to know what would be the best method of transportation to Huang Yao from Hong Kong.

• there is a four-star hotel and many cheap home-inns in the town. you can just choose the one you like when you are there.
  
  you can take train to Guangzhou, and then take a bus from Guangdong Provincial Long-distance bus station (near the Guangzhou Railway station) to Babu, Hezhou, Guangxi, and then change a bus to Huangyao.
  
  the bus from Guangzhou to Babu departs at: 07:45, 09:20, 10:45, 12:15, 13:40, 15:00, 16:30, 19:00, and 23:30.

  Would it be easier to simply catch a flight from Hong Kong to Guilin, and take the bus that is mentioned in the article? If so, how do you get from Guilin Airport to the bus terminal? Is the bus a daily bus so that we can take it to Huangyao on Day 1, stay overnight, maybe 1 or 2 nights and catch the next bus back to Guilin?

• yes, takeing a flight to Guilin and then a bus to Huangyao will be more convenient.
  the bus from Guilin to huangyao departs from Guilin Long-distance bus Station.
  you can take the airport shuttle bus to the civil aviation Building in the city center of Guilin, and take a taxi to the bus station.
  however, there is only two buses from guilin to huangyao departing at 08:00 and 13:30.

• I find that there are 2 buses at 09:00 & 13:00 per day from Guilin general bus station to Huangyao.
  Hotels near Guilin general bus station are Guilin Xiangshan Business Hotel, Guilin Dazheng Hotsprign Resort Hotel & Guilin Overseas Chinese Mansion.
