Question about Guangzhou Long-Distance Bus Stations

  Please advice how we go to the nearest pick up points of Guangzhou long distance bus to Hongkong ?

  If we will stay at Rosedale Hotel or Landmark Canton Hotel ? Are the hotels pick up points also or where the nearest pick up points from those hotels ? Or must we go to directly to South Yuexiu Long-Distance Bus Station (越秀南客运站) as mentioned above ? Where the nearest drop-off points if we will stay at Silka Seaview Hotel in Yau Ma Tei area ? Could we go to the hotel by bus or taxi and how much cost estimation ?

• the pick up points are near to the gate of the hotels, you may ask the bellboy in the hotel.
  you can get off the bus at Metropark Hotel Mongkok which is not far from the hotel you are going to stay in Hong Kong.
  the drop-off point is only 1.5 km from your hotel, you can either walk southward along the Shanghai Street or walk to Bute Street stop and take a bus No. 36B to Wing Sing Lane stop. the hotel is about 140 meters away.

• Thank you Ben for your reply. We heard if we go from Gz to Hkg by bus we must get off from the bus with our luggage twice for imigration checking and must move to another bus after Hongkong border ? How about imigration checking if we go by train ? Thank you.

• If you take a train, you only have to have your luggage checked once when getting on the train at Guangzhou.
