- Hi Andy,
you can take an airport bus line 6A to Guangzhou East Railway Station and take a bullet train to Dongguan Railway Station (not Dongguan East Railway station), which is located in Changping.Answered by Ashley | May. 23, 2012 18:00 - Hi Ashley thanks for your recommendation. however i will be arriving at guangzhou baiyun airport at 1.05am. i am thinking to wait for the metro service and take to guangzhou railway station (30min) and take a train down from guangzhou to dongguan railway station. Is this option possible? or is there better option? thanks for the adviseAnswered by Yap (Singapore) | May. 23, 2012 18:51
- yes, it is possible. but take the subway line 3 to Guangzhou East Railway Station instead of Guangzhou Railway station, and then a bullet train to Dongguan.Answered by Ashley | May. 23, 2012 18:59
- Hi Ashley, what is the difference between the two option?
1) Guangzhou to dongguan railway station
2) Guangzhou east to dongguan railway stationAnswered by yap (Singapore) | May. 23, 2012 19:42 - trains depart from Guangzhou East Railway station more frequently than that of the Guangzhou Railway station. Answered by Ashley | May. 23, 2012 20:57
- Thanks Ashley for the information =) Answered by yap (Singapore) | May. 24, 2012 02:17
- Dear ashley.
Will be reaching baiyun at 1.39am... its a weird time I know... what would be a good alternative to go over to dongguan? Slp over at the airport and take the meteo? Or straight bus? Understand the difference is only the timing and very slight price differenceAnswered by andy koh (Singapore) | Sep. 11, 2013 14:10 - To andy koh
The best way is to sleep in the airport and then take a metro line 3 to Guangzhou East Railway Station. and then take a train to Dongguan. the bullet trains to Dongguan have been cancelled but there are still fast and express trains, departing at 08:10, 08:31, 09:30, 10:44, 14:35, 15:21, 16:23, and 20:40.Answered by Keath | Sep. 11, 2013 21:31
