Question about China Customs Declarations

  iPad and iPhone 4s

  I just want to know if you are travelling with an iPad 3 and iPhone 4s, unpackaged and for personal use, if you have to declare these items and pay tax when entering or leaving China. I will be leaving and enterng through Chongqing

• Hi Luc,
  you need to declare your Ipad and Iphone when you enter China, and pay the tax for them, but, i heard that you can get your money back by showing the receipt when you leave China.
