  Any information about the Tibet Travel Permit for foreigners?

  i heard some news about the TTB that foreigners can not get it?
  is there any restriction on getting the TTB?
  i'm planning to visit Tibet in Oct, any problems?

• Hi Andy,
  individual foreign visitors are not allowed to tour to Tibet, but should join in tour groups organized by authorized travel agencies in China.
  the regulation is that a group of at least 5 visitors of the same nationality will be issued the TTB, but some said it is difficult to obtain the TTB this July and August.
  so you need to book a tour through a travel agency in China and get more information about TTB from the travel agency.
