- what is your purpose going to China? do you have relatives in China? it would be better if you can provide a invitation letter from someone in China.
did you apply the visa through the Chinese visa application service center in Singapore? if they advise you to apply a business visa, i think you can get more information from the center.Answered by Kate | Jul. 17, 2012 20:40 - My purpose to China is visiting relative and tourist. The officer from chinese visa application service center in singapore did asking me question about "meeting" which i tick in the form application. It is the supplier is my friend and ask me if tourist to china just meeting with him have a dinner. I do not have invitation letter from china supplier as my purpose not business trip. Eventhough the single visa they also not allow to let me apply. I believe their professional and efficiently of decision to approval visa. Unfortunately, this case is effect my trip to China and is the first time. I also need to pay their service charge even been reject visa. I never done any illegal or obey their rules, why this can be happen to me.Answered by Irish Tan (Sinfapore) | Jul. 24, 2012 21:32
- you can also ask your relatives to write an invitation letter for you.
as a Singaporean passport holder, you can stay in China visa-free for 15 days, if you have to go China this time.
but if you want to stay longer, you still need to apply a visa, try to apply one with a shorter period, like 3 months or 6 months, instead of the one-year visa.
you can also consult a visa agency or travel agency.Answered by Olivia | Jul. 25, 2012 20:11 - same thing happened to my fiancè's application. All substantial documents has been submitted but it end for refusal no further explaination but a straight "denied". We are still looking for the best options as of the moment. May I ask what happen to your end did you manage to get visa eventually?Answered by Seralc (Philippines) | Aug. 01, 2012 11:48
