  can i use my ipad3 widout 3g in air china plane?

  I want to use my ipad3 with the aiplane mode ON to watch my downloaded movies as our plane goes from beijing to philippines.. do you think the air attendants will allow me to use my ipad as i think the plane were going to get is their old plane without personal TVs.
