Question about Beijing Capital International Airport

  Thai citizen go to Russia transit in PEK.

  My flight from Phuket - Hong Kong - Beljing with Hong Kong Airlines , Then go to KJA, Russia by S7 Airlines . I will be transit passenger in PEK.
  My baggage not check through to Russia because no agreement for both airlines.
  My question is : Do I need to apply China Visa or not ??And how come I can pick up my baggage and go to check in again if I don't have visa?? Or in PEK have transit area with immigration officer stand by for this area?
  
  My flight arrival in PEK on 23.20 then Next flight to Russia on 02.45 am. I know that no need visa for transit pax less 24 hours.. But I want to make sure for my case that no need visa to PEK. even pick up baggage.

• You will just stop at Beijing airport for about 2 hours, so no visa will be required. Please don't worry.
