  How honest are the taxi drivers in guangzhou

  How honest are the taxi drivers in Guangzhou. Do they ovecharge customers from Baiyun Airport to Lido Hotel. Do they go by taxi meters. How much is the estimated taxi fares. If it is at night from 9 pm do they charge extra. T Q.

• Hi Michael,
  most taxi drivers are good. remember to take the taxis from the legal taxi companies, usually the cars carry a sign of "TAXI" on the top.
  you can require the driver use the taximeter. the approximate charge is CNY 90, and no surcharge at night.
