Question about Shanghai Long-distance Bus Stations

  shanghai to wuhan

  I want to travel from Shanghai to Wuhan as cheap as possible. Is the overnight train the best bet? Or is there a bus? Thanks.

• yes, the cheapest is the overnight train No. K1152/K1153, K1156/K1157 and K696/K697. the price for a hard seat ticket is CNY 123, and that for a hard sleeper is CNY 220 - 237. the travel time is 11 - 12 hours.
  there are also the bullet trains from Shanghai to Wuhan. the ticket for a second-class seat is CNY265, but it only takes 5 - 6 hours on the way. the trains run in daytime.
