Question about Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport

  travel from shanghai to zhangjiagang city

  I wnt to travel from shanghai to zhangjiagang city
  I was advised from my contact person to take the folwing rout:
  SHUTTLE BUS from Hongqiao airport to zhangjiagang city, the cost is a little higher than the normal bus, but it is easy and direct.
  But i see that the first bus is departing at 09:40
  Is there an earlyer way?

• I find that the first bus leaving for Zhangjiagang from Shanghai General Bus station starts at 06:00, so you can consider making a transfer there if you want to take a earlier bus.

• It can bring you there anyway but since convenient is key, based on your what you had written, I suggest you take the bus from Shanghai (North Station) Long Distant Bus Station next to Shanghai Railway. It will cost you rmb54 inclusive of insurance (don't know what the heck it is for but I paid everytime I boarded nevertheless). Duration on bus is 2hrs, quite punctual most of the time. Always check when the last bus departing Shanghai. I think the last one departs at 1800hrs (6pm). I nvr dare try to miss so I prefer to be there before 5.30pm.
