Visa for spouse in Macau
I have a couple of questions regarding visa application for Macau.
My spouse is currently working as a teacher in Macau. He is from Germany. We have been married for 2 years.
As a married couple, we would hence like to organize for me a long-term residence for dependants.
He has already applied for his blue card and it is already valid.
How can we apply for a visa for my stay as a spouse in Macau?
We however do no want the 30 day stay visa. We are married and we wish to live together because he has a job in Macau.
Which type of visa should we apply for?
What documents do we need?
Do we need to officially translate the documents?
I really hope u can help us and provide us with all the information needed.
I am looking forward to hear from you really soon.
Thank you!!!Asked by Noorani (Germany) | Sep. 03, 2012 02:31Answer Question

- you can apply the Special Authorization to Stay” to the non-resident worker’s reuniting family either in Macau or through the Chinese Embassy in Germany.
you need to prepare the following documents:
1. A completed application form (available at the subdivision providing the service or accessible at http://www.fsm.gov.mo/psp/eng/PDF/CPSPc_Form_SM_1.6.pdf)
2. A copy of the approval letter (i.e. notification letter of granting “Special Authorization to Stay” to the non-resident worker’s reuniting family).
3. your spouse's identity as a non-resident worker (the blue card)
4. two copies of your spouse's passport
5. three copies of your passport
6. copy of your marriage certificate
you may need to officially translated the documents and have them authenticated. you'd better consult the Macau Public Security Police Force Immigration Service subdivision.Answered by Lisa | Sep. 03, 2012 20:49
