Question about Beijing Capital International Airport

  international transit time...

  Hi,
  I plan to leave the Russian far east to get to Perth, Australia and will need to transfer at Beijing. I will have to collect my bag in Beijing as the airlines won't check the bags all the way through. On the way out, I will have 3 hours in Beijing and on the way back I will have 2 hours. Is that enough time?

• as you have to collect the baggage then you have to go through the whole procedures of international departure: baggage check/ boarding pass issuance, inspection of quarantine and immigration, security check, customs inspection, waiting for boarding. 3 hours are fairly enough, but you may need to hurry up on the way back, coz 2 hrs is a little bit short for that procedures.
