Question about Changsha

  Time & cost by taxi from Changsha South train station to Changsha West Bus Station

  I plan to visit Fenghuang on 15 Dec. Hopefully, can get on the first Guangzhou Sth to Changsha Sth train & arrive at 9.33am. From there, I'm thinking of taking a bus to Fenghuang from Changsha West Bus Station. From websites, the journey is 6 hours & the buses that I can take leave at 10.40, 15.30 & 17.30. I would like to maximise my time at Fenghuang, thus, prefer to take the 10.40 bus. My main worry is : DO I have enough time to take the 10.40 bus? If I take a taxi from Changsha Sth to Changsha West Bus Station, 1) how long is the journey, timewise & 2) how much will it cost?

• it takes about 40 minutes by taxi if there is no traffic jam.
