- Because of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.he ordered the construction of these magnificent projects. The whole project lasted about 38 years
Why:
First- It said that Qin Shi Huang was a worshiper of feudalistic superstition. He believed that people could still enjoy what he owned even after his death
He also had it made so they could accompany and serve him in the afterlife
Second: all of the figures were sacrificial objects. He was known to demand to have more sacrificial things.
