  from pudong airport to luchaogang port

  i want to go to Putuoshan and i have some question as below:
  1. At luchao port, are there buy high-speed boat ticket to putuoshan?
  2. How far from pudong airport to luchao port by taxi. If it's start at 8.00 am from airport,do i catch the high-speed boat in-time?

• 1. there are boat ticket to Putuoshan from luchao Port, but you'd better book the ticket in advance, as there are only two ferries to Putuoshan one day.
  2. it takes about 1 hour from the airport to the port by taxi. the first high-speed boat set off at around 09:30, so you can catch it if there is no traffic jam.
  PS. If time permit, i suggest you stay in Shanghai city the day you arrive in Pudong airport, so that you have time to book the ferry ticket to Putuoshan. you can book the ticket at the Huangpu Tourist Dispatch Center at the Nanpu Bridge (can be reached by subway line 4), and then take the free shuttle bus from the center to the Luchao Port for the high-speed boat.
  or you can book the ticket for the normal boat (much slower than the high-speed boat) which diparts from Wusong Ferry Terminal at night and arrive at Putuoshan in the morning.
