Question about China L Visa (Tourist Visa)

  Are the plane ticket, Hotel Reservation and Personal Bank Account the new requirements for visa application?

  Hi, I am applying for an L Visa in China Embassy in Jakarta (I work in Batam, Indonesia). They are requiring: Itineraries Plane ticket, Hotel Reservation and Personal Bank Account with Minimum Balance US$2,000.00.
  
  Are these new requirements? Why would they need a PBA with minimum balance of US2000?
  
  I have been given an L and F Visas before and I dont remember submitting these requirements...Help!

  i think those may be the new requirements. for the requirement for your bank account, i think you need to consult the embassy.
