  I have a chop that has already been carved. Can I get it re-carved with my name on it?

• yes, of course you can. but the old carving has to been rubbed down, which may make your chop smaller.

  i don't do the business, but just give you advice.
  i think you can try to have your chop re-carved at a locol shop, maybe in Chinatown. it won't be too expensive. i have done it once in China, and it costs me only CNY 50.
