Question about China Customs Declarations

  Expat bringing in two boxes of work-related books

  Am shipping in two document boxes of books and other paperwork from the UK. All are for personal business use even though many are new.
  Is there a limit to the number / value of books? The total weight is approx 35kg.

• according to the regulations of Chinese Customs, you can take/ship 10 books without paying the tax, but there is exceptions if those books are for personal use and within reasonable amount.
  you need to pay the tax for all the books if you ship over 50 books.
