A Filipino Citizen working in Singapore plan to visit Xian visa requirement
I can see that this question has been asked almost a year ago but I would like to know if there are recent additional requirements for a Filipino holding an employment pass in Singapore and would want to get a Chinese visa. Is it true that a bank statement is now required to get a tourist visa? If so, how much is the minimum requirement? Also, is there a required period? Say the bank statement should at least reflect the latest 6 months from visa application date?
Thanks in advance for the help!Asked by grace (Philippines) | Feb. 18, 2013 10:36Answer Question

- yes, a bank statements is required for those who applyin Chinese visa for the first time and do no have the Invitation Letter for Tourist issued by Authorized Travel Agency in China.
the detailed information about the bank certificate is: "You must submit information about your finances and employment or studies, which you should consider providing bank certificate of deposit balance including the past 6 months history of your bank account and the receipt for payment of this certificate, BIR-stamped income tax return form, letter from your employer detailing your salary and the length of your employment, business registration certificate if you are the owner, professional ID, etc."
what's more, some one said that he was required to provide the affidavit of support and invitation letter sealed by the phils.embassy in china before boarding the flight to China.Answered by James | Feb. 18, 2013 19:59 - Thank you JamesAnswered by grace | Feb. 19, 2013 08:49
